These terms and conditions apply solely between Fire of Life, a sole trader registered under the laws of Cyprus, having its registered address at  Limassol, Cyprus.  Hereinafter “Fire of Life ” or we," "us", or "our"),”, and any person who access, uses, or obtains any service or makes any purchase hereinafter “User” or  "you",  through the website  www.shopfireoflife.com, hereinafter the “Website”, and collectively “the Parties”. The User declares that she/he is of full age or has parental permission and has the legal capacity to contract and is accordingly able to place an order through the Website. The Parties agree that their relationship will be governed solely by these terms and conditions.

Although Fire of Life endeavors to ensure that the information on the Website is complete and accurate, the Website may contain errors or inaccuracies. Fire of Life reserves the right to correct such errors or inaccuracies and, at any time, to change or update the information on the Website relating to the prices, availability and, description of the products offered. It is therefore agreed that the applicable terms and conditions are those in effect on the Website at the time the order is placed.

Fire of Life has the authority to modify or discontinue the Service at its own discretion and without prior notice. We won't be held responsible if, for any reason, the Service or any portion of it becomes unavailable temporarily or permanently.

The Marks showcased on the Service are either registered or unregistered Marks of Fire of Life, its affiliates, or licensors. Without prior written consent from us, you are prohibited from utilizing such Marks. Any other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans appearing on this Website are the trademarks of their respective owners and are governed by their respective trademark policies.

 

AVAILABILITY

The products and prices we offer are valid for as long as they are visible on the Website, other than for special offers. The User is urged to check the availability of the articles sold on the information page for each product.

If an item is ordered that is determined to be unavailable, We reserve the right to cancel the order, provided that we give the User notice.

If one of the products ordered is unavailable, We will inform the User that the unavailable item cannot be shipped. The rest of the order will be processed and shipped to the User under his confirmation within the time stated in the email providing information about tracking the order.

ORDER

The material posted by Us on the Website consists of offers to purchase relating to the products presented on the Website (the “Offer”).  We reserve the right to reject, correct, cancel or, terminate any Offer for any reason whatsoever, without notice, and/or to limit the quantity that may be purchased of any item presented in an Offer. The product order that you submit to Fire of Life through the Website constitutes your order (the “Order”). It may be necessary, at any time, for Us to verify personal information or information relating to credit cards or payment cards with your credit card issuer or our payment solution provider before accepting any Order. Once payment for an Order has been verified, you will receive an email confirming the transaction.

To place an Order, you must follow several steps:

• The Users must identify themselves on the Website, by completing required fields to place the Order.

• The User places products in their basket

• The User chooses a delivery method.

• The User chooses a payment method.

• The User makes the payment.

• The User then receives an email from Us recording the payment.

The order validation email constitutes our acceptance of the User’s order and accordingly forms the contract of sale between the Parties. Your diligence in reviewing and confirming the order details contributes to a seamless shopping experience.

By using the Service, you agree to furnish up-to-date, thorough, and precise billing and account details for all purchases you make. You also commit to promptly updating your account particulars, such as your email address, credit card number(s), and expiration date(s), to ensure We can process your transactions and reach out to you if necessary.

PRICE AND PAYMENT METHODS

You agree to pay the price and all charges shown for the transaction. Unless otherwise indicated, local taxes, including VAT, are calculated based on the address where the product is made available for pickup. All amounts are in Euro (€).

We contain a diverse range of products, and it is possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the products listed on shopfireoflife.com may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures, so where a product's correct price is less than our stated price, we will charge you the lower amount. If a product’s correct price is higher than the price stated on the site, we will charge you with the lower price.

The prices of products shown on the website are understood to include VAT(if applicable) and exclude shipping charges, the price of certain packaging, or the price of other optional services selected by the User, which are charged separately. The User will be informed of those charges on the Order summary page before the final validation of the Order. We usually charge purchases to your credit card before the process of sending your order has begun. In case of an out-of-stock product, we operate the refund on your credit card or payment card.

The User may pay for Purchases through any of the following methods:

1. Credit or debit card payments, processed via the Website’s authorised payment provider.

2. Cash on delivery, payable to the courier upon delivery of the goods.

3. Bank transfer, by contacting our Customer Service to obtain the relevant banking details and completing the transfer prior to dispatch.

The Website’s payment provider Stripe is a PCI DSS Service Provider Level 1 certified payments platform. Stripe employs HTTPS with HSTS, end-to-end encryption (including tokenisation of card data), separate secure environments for sensitive data, strong access controls and audit logging, and rigorous monitoring and vulnerability testing.

 

DELIVERY

• Delivery Area
  All orders can be delivered to any location within Cyprus, unless circumstances beyond our control prevent delivery. In such cases, the User will be notified by email, and any amounts paid for the order will be fully refunded.

• Delivery Times
  All information regarding delivery times, methods, and charges is provided in the Shipping Policy.

• The estimated delivery date for each order will be communicated to the User via email.

• Delays
  While we make every effort to meet the estimated delivery times, delays may occur due to factors beyond our control. The User will be informed promptly if any delay arises.

• Risk and Title
  The risk in the goods passes to the User upon delivery. Ownership of the goods passes to the User upon full payment of the purchase price.

 

PRODUCT QUALITY AND DEFECTS

1. Unique Design and Quality
   At Fire of Life, we stand behind the quality of our products. All our prints are handmade and unique, and natural variations are part of the design. These include, but are not limited to:

• Slightly uneven lines

• Uncentered prints

• Blurred picture style

• Differences in letter size

• Subtle color variations

• Small paint or ink overlaps

Such variations do not constitute a defect and are intentionally part of the artistic design, making each item truly one-of-a-kind.

   2. Statutory Warranty
All products are covered by the statutory warranty under Cyprus law (Law 123(I)/2000) for two (2) years from the date of delivery. This warranty ensures products are free from defects and conform to the contract. A product is considered defective only if it exhibits one or more of the following:

• Holes, tears, or structural damage

• Stains that cannot be removed

• Prints that completely vanish within one month of purchase, despite following all care instructions

Note: All prints are designed to last approximately 50 washes. Normal fading, color changes, or other effects from regular use or washing do not constitute defects and are not covered by the warranty.

    3. Remedies for Defective Items
If a product is defective as defined above, the User must provide a photograph of the defective item to our customer service. The defective item will be exchanged free of charge for a similar item. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, an exact identical replacement cannot be guaranteed.

   4. “Imperfect but Still Good” Items
Products listed under “Imperfect but Loved” may have minor variations in print or design and are sold at a discounted price. These items cannot be claimed as defective and are not eligible for exchange or full refund. By purchasing from this section, the User acknowledges and accepts these conditions.

   5. Contact for Warranty Claims
For all warranty-related issues, Users should contact our customer service via the “Contact Us” link in the website footer or via e-mail: customer.fireoflife@gmail.com. We are committed to assisting Users and ensuring satisfaction with our products.

Exclusions:

This warranty doesn't extend to problems caused by negligence, deterioration, or inappropriate use by the User. We want to emphasize that defects resulting from improper care  of  clothes offered by Fire of Life are not covered.

ORDER CANCELLATION

If you wish to cancel your order, please initiate the process promptly. You can either chat with us, e-mail or submit a request through the "Contact Us" as soon as you place your order. We will make every effort to accommodate your request, provided that the order is still under preparation and hasn’t been handed over to the courier.

In the event that your order cannot be fulfilled within the scheduled time due to an item being out of stock, you will receive an email notification about the cancellation of the order. If only one item in your order is out of stock, we will contact you to discuss whether you would like to proceed with the remaining items or if you prefer to cancel the entire order.

 

PRODUCT RETURNS

We value your satisfaction and strive to make your online shopping experience on the Website enjoyable. If, for any reason, you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase and wish to return the product, you have two convenient options:

• Pickup Point

Visit your local Akis Pickup point within 14 days from the date of the product delivery. Ensure you bring the order printed receipt with a filled out return form.

• Home Return (Collection):

Contact our User service team to arrange for a home return. This option allows you to return the product without leaving your home. Please make sure to have the order printed receipt with a filled out return form ready for collection. Please note that there will be a minimum charge of €3.40 for home returns.

After our team checks the return, we will be pleased to refund the amount excluding the transportation charges to the payment card used for your order. Please note that products must be in their original packaging. A product may be returned for a refund within 14 days. To be eligible for a refund, the product must be new, fit for resale, and have the labels attached. Additionally, all components of the returned product must be included. The store reserves the right to refuse any return that is considered non-compliant.

We aim to make the return or exchange process hassle-free, ensuring your satisfaction with every purchase.

 

FORCE MAJEURE

We will not be liable for failure to perform any of its obligations to you, in whole or in part, or for damage or losses that you may incur if such non-performance, damage, or losses result from a case of force majeure or a natural disaster. Examples of force majeure events include, but are not limited to, earthquakes, floods, fires, pandemics, strikes, acts of terrorism, wars, government actions, and any other unforeseen circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Fire of Life.

 

EXCLUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by applicable laws, all products purchased through the website are solely subject to the warranties, if any, offered by the manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers. Fire of Life , to the extent allowed by applicable laws, makes no express or implied representations, warranties, covenants, or conditions. The only warranty provided is the one expressly stated on the website. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing provisions, We expressly disclaim liability for claims related to normal wear and tear, misuse, improper use of the product, modification of the product, incorrect product selection, or misappropriation. In case of proceedings under these terms and conditions of online sale, Fire of Life’s liability will be limited to the purchase price paid for the order by you to shop.fireoflife.com.

 

ENTIRE CONTRACT

In the event that any clause or clauses in these terms and conditions are declared invalid or void pursuant to any law, regulation, or decision of a court or administrative authority, the remaining clauses will continue to be valid and in effect.

We will exert its best efforts to replace any such invalid clauses with a valid clause that best aligns with the spirit of these terms and conditions. If a party chooses not to enforce any clause, whether permanently or temporarily, such forbearance may not, in any case, be considered a waiver of the clause.

 

JURISDICTION AND APPLICABLE LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Cyprus, and GDPR and any disputes arising from or related to them shall be under the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Cyprus.

 

E-GIFT CARDS/VOUCHERS

Our e-gift cards are valid for online purchases at shopfireoflife.com and can only be used within the Republic of Cyprus. E-gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. Any remaining balance on the e-gift card after a purchase will remain available for future use.
